About St. Andrew’s Community Service Academy (SACSA)

SACSA was started in 2025 to provide capability building and workforce development for professionals in both the social and healthcare sectors.

 

Our Expertise and Training Philosophy

SACSA has been appointed by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) as one of its Learning Institutes, in recognition of our contributions to both inpatient and community-based services, particularly in the domains of mental health and palliative/end-of-life care.

 

In June 2025, SACSA was also officially accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) as a certified Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training Centre, reinforcing our commitment to building essential life-saving skills within the healthcare workforce.

 

Our advisory committees comprise professors from NUS, NTU, and SIT, as well as senior leaders from the community care sector. Our faculty comprises a dedicated team of experienced trainers, practice leaders, and subject matter experts, all of whom remain actively engaged in frontline service. This ensures that our programmes are grounded in current, real-world practices and aligned with evidence-based approaches. We believe that effective training goes beyond theory. At SACSA, we deliver learner-centric, practice-oriented programmes designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to apply what they learn in real-world settings. Our training approach emphasizes:
