Bringing Light to Lives
One in three youths in Singapore struggles with severe mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, or stress, according to the National Youth Mental Health Study. Our team at Anglican Youth Centre (AYC) (Sengkang) promotes mental health awareness and gives emotional support to youths facing mental health distress.
When AYC (Sengkang) opened in October 2024, Clarice, 19-year-old polytechnic student, found a place where she could speak, be heard and belong.
I enjoy the one-to-one counselling sessions the most. Counselling can be useful for everyone, and I know everything I share is kept confidential. The youth workers here come in with a friend's perspective.

More Than Just a Hangout
Through AYC's youth workers, Pathfinders, Clarice has joined outings to Palawan Beach and bowling sessions. Beyond fun activities, these were preventive care in action.
And at weekly UthNITE sessions held at AYC (Sengkang), Clarice learnt about stress management and communication. From seeking help to leading others, she has become a passionate advocate, using her school projects to highlight neglected voices.

At AYC, we build a community and help our youths find their own community through our activities.

Support Pathfinders as advocates of mental health within the community. Your donation contributes to diverse programmes and activities that engage our youths.
I saw a remarkable change in my daughter after she joined AYC (Sengkang). She smiles whenever she is there, a smile that truly comes from the heart, that I seldom see at home. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Pathfinders for bringing hope to our family.
