 Introduction
Our Mission

Singapore Anglican Community Services (previously known as Singapore Anglican Welfare Council) reaches out to people in need, with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We provide refuge and relief for the psychiatrically disabled and people in crises.

We aim to be an excellent caring Christian welfare organization effectively accomplishing the total rehabilitation of those under our care.

Who are we?

Singapore Anglican Community Services is a subsidiary organization of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore and an affiliate of the National Council of Social Service. SACS is managed by a dedicated team of professional volunteers and staff, including psychiatrists and rehabilitation counselors.

Currently it operates SACS Family Care Centre (FCC) and four psychiatric health rehabilitation centres, Simei Care Centre (SCC), Hougang Care Centre (HCC), Community Rehabilitation and Support Services (CRSS) and Employment Support Services (ESS)

What we do?

In our crisis shelter, FCC provides refuge and counseling for families in crises, battered wives, single parents and their children. For the psychiatrically ill and emotionally disturbed, the four mental health centres help clients to regain their confidence through the provision of counseling, spiritual devotion, work therapy, vocational training and job placement.

SACS also organises public seminars and exhibitions to raise public awareness of the problems faced by the psychiatrically disabled and of people who meet crises in their lives. In-house training are provided for staff and volunteers to provide our best support and services to the needy.

Our Motto
